Beach huts
New for this season, beachgoers can book a short-term beach hut online for as little as one week, instead of the previous four-week minimum. Additionally, customers will have longer to enjoy their hut as bookings finish and keys are returned by 5pm on the last day of their booking.
The one-week hires are available at beaches in Bournemouth and Poole for the first time in five years. Beach hut users will now have even greater flexibility when hiring a hut for short-term use – with the ability to book multiple huts for various durations.
All our prices can be viewed on the new online booking system, with prices starting at £119 a week (subject to availability and time of year). The new online booking system not only provides greater flexibility, but is also quicker and more user-friendly, making it more efficient from both a time and resource perspective. Customers without internet access will still be able to call the Resort Information Team and book by phone, as it has been in the past.
People can now also take advantage of same day bookings – these will be offered as walk-ins on a first come-first served basis in selected locations and will not be bookable online. You can only hire a daily hut in person at the Tourist Information Centre at Bournemouth Pier Approach. Prices vary based on the time of year and start from £19, subject to availability.

“For the first time since 2019, visitors can book beach huts for one week or longer – allowing for greater flexibility – and our new booking system means guests can seamlessly book multiple huts and multiple periods within the same booking.
“We all know the importance of Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole’s beaches to the area’s thriving visitor economy, and I look forward to welcoming millions of visitors once again this summer to see just why we’re considered among the world’s best beaches according to TripAdvisor’s 2025 Travellers’ Choice Awards.”
