Swanage Blues Festival takes place next weekend (2nd – 4th March). With free admission to around 60 gigs across 20 indoor venues it’s a must for any Blues lover.
The festival is known as The Big Blues Parties and they happen every March and October. As well as blues musicians there is a daily open mic, buskers and electric jam sessions.
Acts this year include Back Porch (predominately acoustic blues), Blind Lemon Gliders (R&B act from the Purbeck Hills), blue Touch (blues), Clare Free (blues soloist) and Lewis Cohen (acoustic blues).
Although events are free, The Bucketeers will be around collecting donations for the festival fund.
